A day spent with an old friend

Today I took my Dad to a Dodger game for his birthday present. I love going back to that stadium...It holds so many memories....I still think to this day it is the most beautiful baseball stadium out there.... I got a dodger dog and a margarita.......mmmm did it taste good....I wish we could of stayed the entire game but unfortunately it was very muggy..and the temperature was around 109.....I was completely drenched in sweat...We almost got hit with two foul balls...the guy next to us caught them.....It was a fun day.....have fun looking at the pictures. :-)

Just spewing out information

I had a job interview today. It's positive for me. I need to get a teaching position. It was for 6th grade. Although the thought of those blooming adolesants and those nice attitudes sort of scares me, I really love the curriculum. World History, reports and Science Projects......yippie...Anyway, I was a little nervous this morning....so I put on my Harry Potter soundtrack..... Don't mess with Harry Pat!....Frodo o.k. but not Harry! Even if youre not a fan of the movies how can you not love the music....You can't not LOVE John Williams....he's a musical genius....and this music I sometimes listen to at night because its so relaxing....I kept telling my Angels to keep my nerves at bay this morning....I know they did because I felt them.... Ty was up in heaven looking down on me....I felt them... They are very real to me... and I did much better with nerves this time around than the last. Well, enough of that.... I can't believe everything thats going on in the world today....War and fighting....our soldiers being deployed all over and every where. So scary when you know some of them....and some are your own family...how can you not worry about them .... I know they are doing their job protecting this great country of ours.....training the military to do their job....but its still scary to know they are over there in an environment that could be potentially dangerous...anyway...enough for now. ........ I really want to go to Disneyland...I need my happy place ...TTFN

My Top Ten Movies

I saw a thread about this on a message board and decided to figure out what my top ten movie favorites are. So here it goes...... NUMBER 1 surprise surprise......STAR WARS. Now how many girls can tell you they've seen Star Wars more than 100 times....well if you lived with a brother thats a fanatic ...that would be me.....he didn't make me watch it thou, I did it of my own free will cause I love them :-) 2) EMPIRE STRIKES BACK ...again....no surprise 3) GOONIES ....hey youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu guysssssssss :-) 4) HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERERS STONE.....best one I think so far 5) PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN.... 6) LORD OF THE RINGS THE RETURN OF THE KING 7) JAWS ........even though after seeing it as a child the first time I have refused to even step foot in the ocean....hahahaha.....amazing movie though...must be the music.......hmmmmm yeah 8) WIZARD OF OZ ....favorite childhood movie, always loved Judy Garland.....9) GONE WITH THE WIND and finally number 10) JURASSIC PARK............
